White balsamic vinegar: Look for this light-colored vinegar near the regular dark balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy at the supermarket.

How to make white balsamic vinaigrette

Place the ingredients in a small bottle or jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Shake well until the dressing has emulsified. Use immediately or refrigerate for later.

Alternatively, whisk the olive oil, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper together in a small bowl or glass measuring cup.
