Lime juice: Fresh is best, but bottled will do in a pinch. No limes? Lemon juice works too.

How to make 4-ingredient guacamole
- To make this easy guacamole recipe, first slice the avocados lengthwise and remove the pits. Scoop out the flesh into a medium mixing bowl. Add the onions, lime juice, and garlic salt.
- Use a potato masher or fork to mash and blend the guacamole. Taste and add more lime juice and/or garlic salt as needed. Enjoy right away or refrigerate for later.
Serving suggestions
Besides serving it in the usual ways, I love using this simple guacamole to make a Cheesecake Factory-inspired guacamole salad. During the Christmas season, it also makes a wonderful base for a festive guacamole wreath appetizer. However you serve it, be prepared for it to disappear faster than you can say "pass the chips".

Ingredients
- 4 avocados, (ripe)
- ¼ cup red onion, diced small
- 1 Tablespoon lime juice
- garlic salt, to taste
Instructions
- Cut each avocado open lengthwise and carefully remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and add it to a medium mixing bowl.4 avocados
