In a large mixing bowl, toss the green beans and garlic with the olive oil and salt and pepper, to taste, so that everything is well coated.
Transfer the mixture to the basket or tray of an air fryer. Air fry at 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the green beans reach your desired level of doneness, shaking or tossing halfway through.
Transfer the green beans to a serving plate. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over them and serve warm or at room temperature.
For best results, do not crowd the air fryer basket or tray. If you want to make more than 8 ounces of green beans, cook the beans in batches. Keep the earlier batches warm by transferring them to a plate and covering them aluminum foil, or placing them in a container with a lid.Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
