If you find store-bought tahini bitter, this hummus with sesame seeds is for you. Easy to make with only 7 ingredients!

If using raw sesame seeds, toast them in a dry skillet over low heat.

Drain the canned chickpeas using a fine mesh strainer over a bowl to reserve the liquid.

Add garlic, olive oil, chickpeas, lemon juice, cumin, and the sesame seeds to the bowl of a food processor.

Process, adding a little of the "aquafaba" chickpea liquid at a time if it's too thick, until the hummus is completely smooth and creamy.

Top with a drizzle of olive oil and a few dashes of ground sumac or paprika.

Enjoy your hummus with sesame seeds with veggies, pita bread, or use it as a sandwich spread.
