Vegan Chickpea Burgers are baked in the oven for the perfect texture. No mushy burgers for you!

To make these chickpea burgers you'll need canned chickpeas, rolled oats, garlic, red bell pepper, Dijon mustard, tamari, Italian seasoning, ground flaxseeds, and salt and pepper.

First combine ground flaxseeds with water to make a "flax egg" to use as the binder.

Then add it with the rest of the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor.

Process the mixture until combined but still chunky. 

Now use your hands to form the chickpea burger patties. Brush each side with a little olive oil.

Bake until lightly crispy and golden brown, flipping over half way through.

Enjoy Chickpea Burgers on buns with your favorite toppings.
