Learn how to make a festive Christmas Tree Cheese Platter in 5 easy steps! And this version is vegan, soy free, and gluten free.
Holiday entertaining doesn’t have to be complicated. All you need are some delicious dishes and a little creativity.
For example, instead of serving a plain dip, why not make colorful Pomegranate Guacamole? Or a nice red and green Pomegranate and Apple Kale Salad instead of a basic one? These are simple dishes everyone enjoys that look extra festive.
And I think it’s always fun to make your wintertime food into shapes like wreathes and snowmen. Don’t you agree?
Making a Christmas Tree Cheese Platter is so easy, you can assemble it in 5 steps!
The ingredients you’ll need are easy to find:
- Fresh rosemary (I used some from my garden, but you can easily buy some at your local market.)
- Daiya Farmhouse Block (I used Medium Cheddar Style and Jalapeno Havarti Style.)
- Kalamata olives
- Castelvetrano olives
- Cherry or grape tomatoes
- Bell pepper or other vegetable to cut into a star shape
Christmas Tree Cheese Platter (Vegan)
- On a large platter, line up some sprigs of rosemary with the longest row on the bottom. Reserve some extra rosemary to fill in the gaps later.
- Add the cubes of cheese with the first row under the bottom row of rosemary. Add an extra cube for the trunk.
- Next add the olives in between the cubes of cheese.
- Then add the tomatoes in any spaces that remain. Fill in the edges of the tree with the reserved rosemary.
- Finally, cut a piece of bell pepper in the shape of a star and place on the top of the tree.
