Sometimes I enjoy drinking a smoothie in the morning such as a Peanut Butter Green Smoothie or a Cranberry Pineapple Smoothie. But other days I want something a little more substantial that I can eat with a spoon.
What's so easy about this breakfast is you only need three basic ingredients to make it: frozen berries, a banana, and unsweetened plant-based milk.
It doesn't get much easier than that!
Then add your favorite toppings, and you'll be starting your day on a healthy note.
I particularly enjoy it after a long run to refuel.

Berry Banana Smoothie Bowl (Vegan)
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen berries, (any variety)
- ½ cup non-dairy milk, (I use organic unsweetened soy milk)
- fresh berries or other fruit, Foodie Fuel Snacks, etc., (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Add the banana, frozen berries, and non-dairy milk to a high-speed blender such as a Vitamix.
- Blend until well combined.
- Pour into a bowl and top with extra fruit, Foodie Fuel Snacks, chia seeds, hemp seeds, coconut, or any of your favorites and enjoy immediately.
